This lens works perfectly with my Kodak Z612 - I didn't notice any problems with the auto focus or flash...I used it with both and the pictures were great, the clarity was amazing and I am so happy I can finally get super close, very clear macro images. You do have to experiment with it a little to get use to it, and you do have to zoom past the tunnel that the adapter ring creates, but this lens is worth every penny.

I'm a macro photography buff. I love getting in close to flowers, insects, and other natural objects.
This lens is great. I can get closer than ever before. While I find the Auto Focus doesn't work, and the lighting seems horrible (don't even try with flash); those are limitations of the camera, not this lense.
So, just make sure you have good natural (or external non-camera light) and that you manually focus, and you'll be amazed by the photos you can take.
