great quality photos! February 22, 2008 Atalanta (Chicopee, MA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great printer - the photo quality is great, editing function very easy to use, and other functions also smooth.
So far so good.. February 21, 2008 iMac (San Diego, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Took less then a minute to get it on my 802.11 network with WPA, able to print from IMAC another minute after that. Prints pics 'ok', color is a little yellow but I don't know if it's the printers fault, need more time to test photos. Printing docs are ok, fast and not that loud, or any louder then any other printer I have used. I can scan directly into PDF, it takes a while if you have a bunch of docs but I can get it going and come back later.
Aggravating pop ups February 19, 2008 Sharon Ramirez (Central Valley, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thought this would be a good value for the money - but the pop ups on each and every print job are an aggravating nuisance - I'm still figuring out how to stop it - guess I'll actually have to spend some time on tech support. The duplex feature seems to cause the most aggravating pop up telling me my ink is drying - it's happened 3 times since I started this review - if it would just go back to my last typed entry it wouldn't be so bad, but I have to click back to where I was typing each and every time. There is also an annoying popup on the bottom left corner telling me the printer model number.
HP C7280 review - excessive ink usage February 17, 2008 C. M. Baum (Boulder CO) Our last HP printer was great. It was reliable and printed well. We have had this printer for 4 months and I have never had a printer use so much ink. We are printing no photos but just text and a few web screens that have some color. We are having to change the ink cartridge every 2-3 weeks. I am shocked at the amount of ink we go through. I knew HP sold their printers at a reasonable price and made their money on the ink cartridges but this is ridiculous. I cannot believe the amount of ink it uses. I will use this printer for a few more months then I'm considering buying another one. It also has a problem where it ejects blank sheets of paper. This is a bit irritating because you are constantly having to collect empty sheets and feed them back in. At first I thought it was my documents but I have never had this problem on another printer. Buy a different printer.
Great Printer February 15, 2008 Daniel H. Michaud 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I must say that reading some of the reviews I almost didn't purchase this printer. It seemed that most of the trouble was with the software/drivers and I checked and found through HP's wed site updated software. When the package came I was determined not to install the software that came with the printer but to install from the download. I downloaded the file to a flash drive and installed it on 3 other computers in the house and set them all up wireless no trouble at all. I have printed envelopes/pictures and of course regular bond paper. The pictures are unreal but I suppose you can get better ones with a product that is dedicated to just pictures "Not Sure". Overall this is a great All-In-One and would recommend it. I would have given it a 5 except the software could have been designed a little better but that's just my view.
