Software Problems May 18, 2008 sb (Delaware) I recommend that everyone read Michael L. Andrews' instructions. He has the key to keeping your computer from coming to a crawl. I tried installing this printer the HP recommended way and my computer became unresponsive or at least slow sometimes. Sometimes it took 5 minutes to connect to the internet. I saw that some people were saying that they did not understand what people were complaining about, but they are just the lucky ones. I have plenty of space and my computer is not old, but even though the printer stated that I had a successful wireless connection, the computer said printer not found until I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times.
Nice machine May 18, 2008 S. Jones (ny) I don't know about all the problems the other reviewers wrote about. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the fax but everything else works perfectly. I used the cd that came in the box.It downloaded the drives and searched for the latest upgrades. It was so simple for which i was pleasantly suprised considering the other reviews i read before ordering. While some reviews are helpful it may sometimes be better to just try for yourself. Im so happy i did. The only one thing i don't like is it's size...it's large. My last machine was smaller but not half as good. So, i guess i would choose the larger machine which works nicely over the smaller machine.
So far I love this printer May 18, 2008 Charlene Butterfield (Hamilton Bermuda) It hooked up to my network in a breeze. The print quality is ok. I printed my first mother and son photo. I haven't used the fax features as yet, but the colour copy was great too. My husband think's it is his. :-)
Good printer May 15, 2008 TV Lover (Phoenix, AZ) This printer was easy to set up and get up and running. The wireless setup was very simple and quick. So far the printing has been very good. No regrests so far. Biggest downside is all the ink cartridges (5 in all).
Perfect All In One Printer May 8, 2008 Craig Underhill (Irmo, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
WOW, what a great printer, so easy to set up and operate, I am using it wirelessly which is one of three ways to connect to your environment. I use it with my PC upstairs and my laptop anywhere around the house and the print quality is fantastic, I highly recommend it, and a great Amazon price also.
