5 out of 5 stars Sweet   September 8, 2007

Pros: Good and useful features such as phone book copy, speaker phone, ability to call the other handsets, headset plug; fair price; uses standard NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries.

Cons: Nothing relevant. Could have more ring tone options.

4 out of 5 stars Really good phone with a few minor problems   September 8, 2007

First of all, I really like the phone. The call clarity to me is the most significant feature of a cordless phone, and this is the best I've ever had. Unbelievably clear from all three handsets. Very nice. One handset is right next to a PC and there is no hum or interference.

Now to my minor items. First, the keypad is large, but not lighted. Hey, I said "minor". Second, the amber charging indicator on the top emits a pretty bright glow for something so small. This may be an issue for people who are extremely light sensitive when trying to sleep (I have one handset in the bedroom). It's not bright like a flashlight, just bright for its size. It casts a glow on the wall above and behind it. Third and final minor problem is the wall mounting is not flush. This means the little plastic device they have included to allow wall mounting actually makes the unit stick out perpendicular to the wall. As my wall mount is in the kitchen and just about eye level, this causes two problems. I can't see the base of the phone (for messages, etc.) at all and I also can't open the cabinet door near the wall mount as it sticks out slightly more than the base unit. So, I placed it on the counter. Yes, I realize these are all minor and likely not showstoppers for most people, but I thought these issues may be important to some people and they would like to know. I've ordered one of Panasonic's headphones, but haven't received it yet, so no feedback on the headset sound quality.

Still a great phone and I would buy it again and recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars overall great bang for your buck   September 8, 2007

Phone works great, simple as that. You want an easy to set up, easy phone here ya go. What you read in the description is what you get, send phonebook to one or all 3 phones. Light weight, seams cheap but I guess that is due to the light weight. The only thing that can improve I guess is the lcd, looks dated compared to some of these new phones, but will work better hands down. I have used this phone in the front and back yard and the other person had no idea I left the house. Also I love the idea of paging my wife rather than yelling to ask her a question. Conclusion: want a great phone that's simple to use, look no further.

5 out of 5 stars Good buttons, batteries, and quality of sound.   September 7, 2007
The buttons are large and easy to see and push. And the sound quality is great, no reception problems or anything. I keep my third handset upstairs at the opposite end of the house and it still works great. Nice programmable phonebook. I don't use the other features like caller ID. I like that it uses normal rechargeable batteries that could be replaced easily if needed. Very satisfied.

5 out of 5 stars BETTER THAN CONSUMER REPORT   September 5, 2007

I bought this with the recommendations on this list. The are very good. I had bought the top rated CONSUMER REPORT phones and they they were only junk. I have been paying for consumer report for many years now, but this last problem I really wonder is the reviews are unbiased. I think that producers can buy the rating they can afford.
