 Great quality phones November 12, 2007

we are enjoying these phones, my husband is very pleased with them, we purchased Uniden phones before this purchase and returned them. these phones have many functions such as internal dial to the other phones- so if you have a house and one phone is placed in the basement you can connect with the upper level easily, no need to shout. The phones look sophisticated and cover wide range. Good buy.

Replacing my Uniden cordless set after callers complained about the sound quality, I chose this Panasonic set, and I am pleased. The sound quality is great, and I especially like the various ring tones that are available. I have different phone sets programmed to ring at various volumes, depending on the room they are located in, and that works well.
If you are looking for a replacement set, this one is great. It only comes with 3 handsets, my Uniden had 4 but I really don't miss the 4th one.

Although I'm not easily impressed, I really like the Panasonic DECT cordless system. If you have never used a multi-handset style cordless phone system, you'll be impressed how convenient it is to only plug in a phone line to the base station and have other chargers throughout your home.
The voice quality is great. I've never had static or lost any calls. I assume this is because DECT is using a different frequency which doesn't interfere with WiFi devices. Even with the speaker phone, it sounds really good.
It uses standard Ni-MH AA rechargeable cells. Nice when the batteries wear eventually wear out. I haven't really tested the battery life, but being on conference calls all day doesn't seem to bother it.
It supports either private phonebooks for each handset, or you can copy between them easily to keep them up to date. One minor complaint is that the phonebook only permits 100 numbers.
The integrated answering machines works well and you can check messages from the handsets.
It includes some nice to have features like belt clip and a headset jack.

The KX-TG1033S was recommended by Consumer Reports - and I had previous problems with our 2.4 GHz phones (whenever they were in use my wireless network was interrupted). Based on general impressions (no elaborate testing on my part), these phone work well. The price for 3 handsets was barely above the price for 2, which worked well for our house. Overall, this phone set appears to be a good deal. Just minor issues (the message light could be brighter, the announcement of how many messages there are could be count both new and saved, etc.) so I rate it 4 stars.

I have had my phone a couple of weeks now. I am THRILLED with it. All I did was plug it in and waited the alloted time for it to set up. Believe me I am not technically inclined and this was so easy for me.
The sound is GREAT, the phone itself is comfortable even after speaking on the phone a long time. My 900 Panasonic died and it wasn't as comfortable as this one. I was going to buy the two expandable phone but decided to get the three instead and I'm so glad I did.
Anyway DO NOT hesitate to get this phone....it's AWESOME!!!
