3 out of 5 stars Good and Bad   September 12, 2008
Sherry (Mesa, AZ United States)
Multi phones are great for anyroom :-) even the bathroom. Like many other reviews I agree: the answer machine doesn't show the number of calls and none of the keypads light. However, my major issue is the volume to hear callers is low and mine fades during conversation making it necessary for me to change phones often during a chatty call. This has nothing to do with the charge strength. I do like the fact that it lists all missed phone calls including the hang-ups; my sister refuses to leave messages so at least I know she has tried to call. lol --- The Manual is a nightmare: drugstore glasses + a magnifier is necessary and then most of the information is ambigious and leaves you thinking "HUH"? It would have been nice if they had thought to wall 'power cord the phone' in the event of power outages. If there is a way to program all the phones numbers at onces rather than each one individually I haven't figured that out. All said and done...the ID window is large, bright and easy to read. I like the fact that the phone(s) tell me who is calling upon the second ring (with caller ID service) and lol the way some of the names are pronounced. Would buy it again as the price was right and offers a bunch of functions for the cost.

5 out of 5 stars Great Phone System   September 2, 2008
TonyaB (Upper Marlboro, MD USA)
My brother and father both have this product and when I moved into my new place I decided to get it too. The best decision I could have made. A phone for every room without buying separate phones, without having to worry about where to place the phone because the phone jack is way across the room. The voice caller id is the best thing since caller id. Now you do not have to rush to see who is calling, the phone annouces who is calling. A friend of mine came to visit and now she wants one. The retailer was great also. I received it two days before they said I would receive it. I am very happy with this phone system.

5 out of 5 stars Coolest phone in town!   August 29, 2008
L. Rhoan (Oakhurst, ca United States)
My kids were claiming not to hear the phone when I called. So I decided to put a handset in each room. This phone system takes it even further with the talking caller ID. They can hear the phone AND it announces who it is. I absolutely love it. And it is quite entertaining to hear the voice pronounce the person's name. I did have to call my phone company and add the talking caller id function but it is definitely worth it. I was also concerned about a digital system conflicting with my wireless DSL. No problems at all! I highly recommend this system.

So far I have been very satisfied with my purchase. The main reason I purchased this product was the fact that it was Panasonic and I wanted the extra extensions. It is very clear and I am pleased. Panasonic makes a good product. The only negative is that I wished the key pads would light up, but that is a minor thing for me.

5 out of 5 stars excellent phone system   August 4, 2008

This phone system works as advertised. I have had no interference problems related to our wireless network, and the batteries seem to have a very long use time per charge. The talking caller ID is nice, but can also be quirky. It will try to pronounce acronyms if it encounters them - our local hospital is abbreviated ARH, and the phone system makes it sound as if a pirate is calling (Aaaarrhhh!) All in all, I am very satisfied.
