Very pleased August 5, 2008 C. L. Wright (Collingswood, NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have a large number of 35mm slides that I wanted to put on a CD. The Canon CanoScan 4400F was the right choice for the job. The cost was right too. The softwear that can with the scanner is also great and easy to use. I would recommend this scanner for general scanning as well as for slides.
A good scanner for the home. August 3, 2008 Tracy R. Roberts (Dickinson, Texas) This is a good scanner for the home and for what I have intended for it. I tend to collect magazines a bit too much and only for one or two articles are really why I want to keep them. I use the scanner to take those articles and make PDF files of them to be placed on a CD. This is perfect for that and I can rid myself of excess paper magazines.
Good for my needs July 24, 2008 S. Pashley I needed a basic, multifunctional scanner. This is a great value and just what I needed. It is slow, but quality is good.
execllent July 21, 2008 Lori M. Hansen this scanner is extremely easy to use & gives great pictues even when the pictuce or slides are really old. I would highly recommend this scanner
Nice Value July 18, 2008 John A. Bechard (Mount Vernon, Maine) This scanner is a good value - a little clunky but does the job. I wish there weren't so much software associated with it though - the installation is quite an ordeal. All in all though, it has some nice features, you can create files in pdf, jpeg and other formats, you can send directly to a printer or as an email attachment. Net net - a nice value.
