awesome October 18, 2008 pastelbaby This is the best phone I've ever had and the first cordless,I've never wanted one before, but now I'm glad that I got this one.Makes my life so much easier here at home
Not a very good Uniden phone July 24, 2008 T. Casto (Okinawa, Japan/St. Louis, MO) I've owned Uniden in the past and liked that phone a lot. This one on the other hand is terrible. The battery life is a joke. The reception for the first week was all static if you left the living room where the base was located. I wish I would have returned this phone right away! Big mistake in keeping it. I suppose you get what you pay for and recommend you spend the extra money and get a better model. Oh, and say you're on the phone and your headset is about to die, you can't just pick up a different one and use that one. You'll have to re-call the person you were talking to. It's doesn't allow 2 phones to be on at once. And considering the battery life is terrible, this is a feature that is a must.
Perfect little low priced cordless phone/answering machine July 10, 2008 V. Wright (North Carolina) Works surprisingly well for the price, set up is a breeze, manual is complete and easy to understand, and phone is easy to operate with all the many, many features; low learning curve, great sound quality and range. No interference even living in a downtown area with lots of businesses and a great deal of traffic very close. Handset works great and voice quality/sound and pickup are clear and sharp even in other rooms away from the base, and even with the room's door shut and a tv or computer on within a few feet. Answering machine is a nice quality bonus that has a longer length allowed for messages than my old one and works great, too.
Uniden Phone Review May 29, 2008 Miss Linda (Ohio) The phone is ok - streamlined, easy to use. But, it doesn't seem to have the range I expected - seems to fade out when I move much more than 30-40 ft. from the base. But, a good answering system so far. All in all an ok value for the investment.
Uniden, I'm sorry but I have to break up with you now May 22, 2008 KayDee I've always had Uniden phones and loved them. Actually, this is only my third Uniden set in 15 years. That's how long the others have lasted and I used the phones A LOT. I would acutally be embarassed to ever see the amount of time logged on one of my phones. Hey, I love to talk. What can I say? So, when my last phone finally gave up on me, I was in need to something not too fancy and affordable. I chose another Uniden phone because I'd never been disappointed before. This phone is terrible. The reception is pitiful and the batteries do not hold a charge. They actually even lose a lot of their charge even when not in talk mode. I thought I was saving money, but now my only choice is to purchase another unit and, sadly, it won't be another Uniden. My relationship over the years with Uniden was great and wonderful. But, it's over now.
