Turn the Ringer Off... Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message in your voice mailbox1. You can also choose up to three different light-up indicator colors to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data. Light-Up ID1 requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call. ...Or Keep the Ringer On With Ringer ID1, you can choose from a downloaded or selectable ringer to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data, which also requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call. Voices Come Through Loud and Clear By simulating a band signal above and below the normal bandwidth limitations, Voice Enhancer Technology helps clarify and improve sound reception creating a natural-sounding voice that is easy to hear and understand. The battery of the phone cannot withstand 1 hour of continuous talking September 2, 2008 Seshagiri Dev Kurmana 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are great phones, but I was stunned when I realized that they do not have belt clips on the handset. The phone has to recharged after every one hour of talktime for 5 hours to get one more hour. They have headset jacks, so Panisonic is well aware that people will be using headsets with the phones, but they didn't consider what you do with the handset when you are walking around with your headset on. It's really a pain, because the purpose of a headset is to talk hands-free and having to carry the phone in one hand really defeats that purpose. This small issue is enough to make me avoid using this phone in favour of my other set. It's concerning that Panasonic would cheap out on something this small.

Item arrived quickly and was in perfect condition (although, could have done without the super sticky barcodes).
Great Look, Feel, and Sound June 28, 2008 Blueskygal (Tucson, Arizona United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I LOVE THESE PHONES! 1) Great look and feel. They are made of a solid material that feels great in your hands. Lightweight and nice "millenium" shape. Two tone, darker brown face and black backing. Visual appeal is a big criteria for me so they passed the test with flying colors. Drawback is no key light up in dark. But the faceplate is easy to read. Also you can use the two handsets as intercom. 2) Great sound. NOW I do get interference and have bought an adapter, but still get it. I think it has more to do with the hot weather here in Tucson AZ. I had the same problem with old phone, which had no interference until we got really hot weather. Also there is Voice Enhancer technology which makes voices sound better. 3) Speakerphone on handset is great and a big plus. Also conference calling. 4) Phone lights up with voicemail also lets you know when you have voicemail. You can also program different ringtones and voicemail dial right in. 5) Numbers are easy to add. Can add direct from caller id. Contrary to what other reviewer said, IF YOU READ THE MANUAL, it is easy to transfer phone book from one phone to another. I've done it. 6) It will also take a headset which i plan to use. i do alot of phone work and that was a must. It is a feature rich phone which had all the features I was looking for. Has a nice ringer sound as well. 7) Easy intuitive interface. Keeps list of last 5 calls which you can use to dial or program phonebook. User manual well written. I love Panasonic products. I bought a Panasonic boom box in 80s which has great sound and is still going. I bought a mini-stereo Panasonic which has great look and sound. My last phone was a Toshiba which is still going after 5 years but not digital. You can't go wrong with Panasonic. They have great technology. And I have two handsets which is nice as well.
No doubt about the sound quality of Panasonic phone June 9, 2008 P. ZHENG (IN USA) I first bought a set of Simens cordless phones before this one, because Simens always creates such attractive appearance of their products. Honestly, I was just loving watching the phone sitting in my living room. However, after two-week trial I had to give it up because of the sound quality, noisy and far away, even though it still looked pretty... No matter how time changes it's always a fact that Parasonic produces the "best" sound quality of their phones.
Nice phones May 28, 2008 Sheri (CA) These phones are easy to use, easy to hear, and have speaker phone. It is also very easy to hear when your are on speaker phone. They also have an intercom function so that you can use one hand set to call the other. This is not the model with the answering machine if you are looking for that. We have voicemail with our phone service though and it alerts us to that with a flashing light.
