User loves it May 2, 2008 B. Parker Bought this for my mother who is very hard of hearing. Only phone that has worked for her is an old ATT phone with dial on handset to boost sound. She claims this phone is wonderful. Only one issue and that is she has some difficulty setting phone up or using boost.. We are at different locations and she has to get a friend to help... But it looks like this phone is going to do the trick..... Years ago I tried another phone for hearing impaired and it was a total failure...so this is a pleasant surprise.
This is NOT an amplified phone September 12, 2007 Hector R. Euredjian 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Over the last 6 years or so I bought 3 Ameriphone C-40 for different elderly members of my family, this time I made the mistake of buying this phone, BAD MISTAKE , it is not even close to the amplification of the Ameriphone. This phone is NOT for the hearing impaired, I thought that it was going to be the same amplification as the ameriphone but with bright lights to signal an incoming call, the lights are there but the amplification is a joke.
Amplified Phone May 6, 2007 L. Hardy 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This phone was just the thing for an elderly person with hearing challenges. It is simple and easy to use.
Great for the hard of hearing March 20, 2007 Carl E. Olson 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got this for my brother-in-law who is a nursing home resident. He is very hard of hearing and it works just great. The light, indicating an incoming call, is an added benefit for him. I have tried other phones for him, but this is the best by far. A very quality item.
