Simple cordless phone that works. December 31, 2007

We live in a small house so I can't review it for distance, but it is an attractive and comfortable phone with clear sound. The display is not the greatest, but it can be read when looking straight at it. It does have a couple cheesey/gimmicky features like silly ringtones and flashing keypad, but all-in-all a good inexpensive cordless phone for those that don't need a lot of options.

I have tried countless cordless phones in my house, but had not found one that would work beyond the room with the base in it - until I brought this Vtech home. It is cute - there are three trim color choices (all included): silver, blue & pink, a variety of ring tone choices, including music, flashing lights & other cutesy things. OK, it's not my usual style, but it's fun & it works like a cordless should! I would love to get an expandable system with an intercom, but I haven't found one that works, yet. I hope it doesn't take another 4 years of trial & error for that, too. As the GigaHertz increase, my reception decreases. Somebody please make a cordless that works throughout the entire spectrum (900 MHz - 5.8 GHz)! I highly recommend this product!
