Product Description Crosley's Kettle Classic Desk Phone captures the essence of the classic 1930's European-style telephone. This beauty was originally cast in a heavy-duty metal and then later reconditioned in a lightweight thermoplastic giving it a more stylistic approach and curved design. The Kettle Classic Desk Phone successfully combines industrial technology with design-inspired craftsmanship right down to the classic cloth cord. This "fat style" phone features a substantial "hoof" and true to the original incorporates a mechanical bell in the base.

Beautiful and functional September 22, 2008 R. Tessier (Toronto, Canada) This product was fully working for me, no problems found yet. Beautiful look, beautiful sound, and unlike what some others have said, the ringer is totally not that loud. Not much more to say.. was definitely worth the money, imo!
Vintge Kettle Desk Phone August 30, 2008 G. H. Hamby (Fredericksburg, TX USA) I'm really very pleased with this phone! The authenic ring is delightful and surprises everyone. The push button, but looks like rotary, dial works smoothly. The size is good for desk top or nightstand. The only minor negative is that the plastic body doesn't quite have the same vintage feel as the metal or early heavier plastic. The picture also showed the phone with a cloth cord but it came with a plastic one. All in all- Great!
Aesthetically pleasing and bargain priced. May 22, 2008 Erich B. (California, USA) The 'kettle classic' desk phone brings back the idea that an everyday object can work well and also be pleasing to the eye, unlike many of today's styleless and charmless utility objects. Simple to set up, simple to use, it works very well and sounds better to the person called than does a genuine antique telephone.
Solid, good looking phone. April 28, 2008 Mike P (Tulsa, OK) I bought this phone for my 1923 California bungalow, to put in the phone nook in the hall. Fits the bill perfectly. The dimensions are good (another reproduction was too deep) and it even sounds like a period phone. My only minor complaint is that the item photo shows an old fashioned straight cord from the receiver to the base, and mine came with the more modern curly cord.
Great Phone April 21, 2008 Mark Jurentkuff (Cape Cod, MA) The phone looks great and works great too! It was exactly what I was looking for.
