The filtered sound system gets considerably less noise than conventional cordless telephones because of a special circuit which delivers the clearest possible reception. With the 40 channel auto scan, you can easily find and lock on to the clearest channel for any call. Store up to ten frequently called numbers with the telephone number storage. Ensure greater privacy with the built-in security code with 65,536 combinations that prevents use of your telephone line by another nearby cordless phone. The P9040 also features an out-of-range indicator, in-use charge indicator and auto-standby when handset is placed onto base after conversation. The handset comes with a convenient volume control, flash/redial/pause functions, tone/pulse dialing, battery low indicator, removable belt clip, ringer on/off, and built-in 2.5-millimeter jack for headset.
