This unit has a negative feedback circuit called APC, which means Automatic Power Control that insures the output power will not exceed 5mW. This makes it far more suitable for use indoor. It has a small green LED placed just above the "ON" button to show when the pointer is radiating. Body of the pointer is in totally ALL BLACK finish, which Atlasnova has exclusive rights. All metal construction. Metal case. Uses 2 AAA batteries (included).
