Not the most powerful red handheld out there, but very sturdy. I'm known for dropping things and this laser has held up against me just fine. I've owned one for years and am getting another as a gift. The belt holster is a great plus. Unlike others I've had, it actually hold the laser safely. The rounded design makes it easy to hold through long presentations as well. If you're looking for a great all around red pointer that shows up well in a lit room, then order this little one soon. Of the seven I own, its the one I use most often.
