A full-sized ambidextrous full-sized Bluetooth mouse! August 14, 2008 C. Mospaw (Las Vegas, NV USA) This is the mouse I've been searching for. I don't know how I missed it until now. I'm a lefty, so that pretty much rules out all those weird-looking lopsided mice for me. I need an ambidextrous (or lefty -- heh) mouse. I need Bluetooth so that it works with my laptop and doesn't require a dongle. Rechargeable batteries are nice. And since I'm a big guy, I need a full-sized mouse, not those tiny little things designed to work with notebook computers. This is the first mouse I've found that meets all of these criteria. After 2 days of use, it's still charged, fits great in my hand, and has a logical layout. I've been using wired optical mice for years on my desktops and have no issue with them, but I like this mouse so much, I'm getting 3 more for my various machines. As a bonus, this mouse comes with a Bluetooth USB dongle, so if you don't have Bluetooth you can add it very easily. Setup for my desktop was painless and quick. I didn't even need a reboot. The rechargeable battery is AA, so when it wears out, you can find an replacement just about anywhere. The power switch on the bottom of the mouse is a nice feature, as long as I remember to turn it off when not using it. Tracking is spot-on and even after sitting for several minutes, there's no delay in getting things moving again. Very nice. This is a slightly pricey mouse, but you won't regret it. I'm going to have about 4 others I've tried up for sale real soon. :) [UPDATE: In the week or so I've had this mouse, it's been absolutely flawless. I have ordered two more for the machines I use on a regular basis. It would be nice to simply move the mouse from machine to machine, but apparently Bluetooth devices get "paired" and have to be re-paired. No biggie, really, but enough of a pain that I just ordered more mice.]
I like this mouse. July 28, 2008 Debbra Ikeler (Tomahawk, WI United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this mouse for my desktop. With this mouse, I have no need for a mousepad.
excellent wireless mouse for my Mac July 15, 2008 J. Turkel (Los Angeles, CA USA) I use this with a Mac Pro running Leopard (10.5) and have no serious complaints. Tracking and scrolling are great. It's very comfortable to use and has the right number of well-placed buttons for an experienced user. It connects quickly and reliably. I replaced the original rechargeable AA battery with a new one from Sony and get about a week of moderate use per charge, which works well for me.
A comfortable and high precision mouse July 13, 2008 Aylons Hazzud (Sao Paulo, Brasi) A comfortable and high precision mouse, the bluetooth connection seamlessly paired with Windows Vista. The battery lasts long, even though I constantly forget to turn it off using the on/off button when not using. The clickless scroll may be a bit annoying sometimes, but it is very comfort in general use. It is simmetrical, and works for both left and right handed, making one of the extra buttons a bit hard to click.
kinda sucky for work involving fine movements May 26, 2008 Douglas Metzler (Seattle, WA USA) I've had this mouse for a while now and it's always had charging problems- mostly when I run it down to where the red light starts to blink then I put it on the charger and it starts out ok, but after a few seconds it goes to the rapid-red blinking of "charging error". Which is annoying, but if you pick it up and drop it on the cradle a few times eventually it gets the idea. But lately I've been needing to do a lot of fine mousing, and what I'm finding is that it is constantly going to sleep and missing my fine movements. If you're moving the mouse in big happy gestures it works great, but if you're moving slowly to get pixel to pixel accuracy it just stops responding. So beware, if your work or play involves fine mouse movement the standard optical mice (like the intellimouse) are much better.
