Uhhhhh - Its OK - I guess. July 18, 2008 Tarun Chachra (Hillsborough, NJ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The mouse looks great, the price is right, but the form factor is not great for big hands. Here is what I like: Color, Design, and the fact that the wireless transceiver hides inside the mouse and turns it off when you replace it after use. The build quality is solid and it works on both pc's and mac's instantly...without installing any software. The transceiver is small and thus stays out of your way.... Here is what I dis-like: The mouse being FLAT makes it hard to get a easy comfortable grip...especially if you have big hands and u are used to curved (microsoft type) mice. Overall I think this deserves 4 stars and a try!!! You may fall in love with it. Everything, including batteries and drivers (for windows) come in the box. I have not needed the drivers.... The batteries are high quality energizer triple AAA's. Hope this helps somewhat.
Happy with Purchase July 17, 2008 A. Smith (Kansas City, MO) I'm happy with the Kensington SlimBlade Presenter Mouse that I purchased. It is small and lightweight which is extremely beneficial for travel. I use it all the time with my laptop. It seems to travel well without any damage.
Nice Mouse, works well.. July 13, 2008 thedreamer (MO, USA) I am very pleased with my purchase. Pros: ===== --Portable: slim and small size - my kids also love it as it's a good fit on their smaller size hands. --Reasonable Price (I bought it on a Gold Box Deal) --Presenter Mode functionality (can only move forward and back through the slide show - this is not a Gyro mouse). Cons: ===== --As pointed out by other reviewers, the scroll wheel s a bit stuff. FYI the presenter mode operation is not clearly listed anywhere - it took a few minutes to figure it out as you have to start the slide show and make sure the mouse lights have finished blinking.
6 x 2 x 8 inches? May 25, 2008 Michael O'Leary 1 out of 13 found this review helpful
I haven't purchased this mouse yet, but I will It is just what I want, both a mouse and a presenter and Kensington is a good name. But you have it described as 6x2x8 inches and weighing 3 pounds!!! How about 6x2x8 centimeters and 3 ounces?
Looks good but scroll wheel is too stiff April 3, 2008 Steve P. Moss (Detroit, MI, USA.) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Mouse looks good, and is a slim enougth to slide into a pocket in your laptop bag. The USB transceiver is tiny and hides well inside the moise body when stowed. But, the scroll wheel is shiny and stiff to turn. The only way I can turn the wheel is to lick your finger, like you were counting money. Too bad. There is no thumb back button, but I can live without that. The entire mouse is high gloss, so it can be difficult to grip with dry hands. I am still searching for the perfect mouse.
