Product Description Move freely around the room as you pinpoint your visuals with this standard pen size laser pointer. Powerful red laser beam projects hundreds of yards and is seen even in the brightest room. It's ideal for highlighting overhead or LCD projections, videos, maps and charts. The pointer features lightweight high-impact plastic construction. It includes two AAA batteries.

Just awesome March 4, 2008 MARCUSHELBLINZ (St. Louis, MO USA) My dad got this in 1999 and today in 2008 it still works just as well
Cheap Plastic Junk September 15, 2007 Christopher Croom (San Diego, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted to give this laser pointer zero stars, because it's made of the cheapest plastic imaginable. I bought mine (the exact same model) from Staples, not Amazon, and the batteries audibly rattle around inside it when you use it. For almost the same money elsewhere, you can buy one made completely out of brass that is impact resistant to two meters, whereas the "durable plastic" that Apollo claims this pointer is made from can be easily crushed between your fingers. Apollo also uses the word "professional" on the packaging, yet this thing feels so junky that your kid probably wouldn't even want to play with it. Moreover, it has a blurry beam. There's nothing professional about this device, and the manufacturing costs per unit can't have been more than 50 cents. Buy something better for the same amount of money. After handling it for 2 minutes, I was pretty sure it would only bring me more exasperation than anything else, so I repackaged it before the button broke so I could return it. I'm glad I didn't pay someone and wait to have it shipped to me, or I would have been deeply disappointed.
There are better ones around January 25, 2007 Baileybear 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The laser light is fine on this pointer, but the black plastic feels cheap. It is also flat on one side, which makes holding it very uncomfortable. I lost mine and bought a much better one on Ebay for much less money.
