Don't buy this machine! November 13, 2007 Mzlay (California) I bought this machine for my business. The answering machine's outgoing message records as if you are under water and callers always comment on how they can barely understand the message. The replacement ink is expensive. Also not very user friendly during set up. Don't waste your money.
B95 Canon Fax Inferior Product March 19, 2007 Paul M. Powers 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Much surprised with the B95. Bought 1, did not work out of box. Returned for replacement and sent one fax from replacement and it stopped working altogether. Returned for second full refund. All this i within first 30 days. I own Canon MP600 printer-copier-scanner and it is wonderful. I need a fax and am a little worried about any of them at this point.
Useless when paper stops feeding September 18, 2006 J. Kaufman (Brooklyn, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this mainly for an office phone with the occasional incoming or outgoing fax, or to make a few copies. It worked OK to begin with, although the phone quality is not great. But it's extremely touchy about what kind of paper you feed, and finally (after 6 months?) it wouldn't feed any kind of paper--so I can't send faxes or copy anything. I think it still receives faxes, but it ran out of ink quickly. At least, I think it's out of ink; I can't test it, because it won't copy. Tech support was responsive, but their response was that there was no solution other than taking it somewhere to be fixed, which can't be cost-effective. So although this wasn't an expensive machine, it turned out to be a waste of money.
This machine is a garbage August 1, 2006 J. Hsu (CA, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Had used it for about 16 months and within the last 12 months I was thinking to throw it to the cemend floor from the roof of my house after every time I used it. And today, I did. It was so hard to load the paper correctly, lot of wired parts were blocking the paper, I needed to spend around 1 min to feed one piece of paper to the tray, till this piece of paper looked like a piece of toilet paper, after I tried all my effort to finish the fax, the poeple on the other end might receive couple pieces of blank paper. I'd rather to throw this junk to a garbage can than donate it to anyone who really needs a fax machine because a garbage can is where this machine really belongs to, trust me!!!!!!
Canon FaxPhone Inkjet Fax July 2, 2006 Angela Alvarado (Los Angeles, CA USA) I should have paid attention to the 3 stars other people gave this fax. That's all it deserves. It is noisy and slow and hard to program compared to my old Panasonic (which I am going to repair and start using again). Also the telephone receiver is so tiny and has such poor reception it has to be held tight to the ear. Sending a fax takes forever. The first time I sent a fax I thought it had lost the connection as it took so long to go through. If I hadn't already thrown away the packing materials I might have tried to return it. The only good thing is that it's cheap-just under $100, and uses plain paper,no film, so it's better than nothing.
