Opteka Slide Copier for Canon A540 Camera August 18, 2008
Finally received the Opteka Slide Copier and it fitted the Canon A540 camera without any problems although the fitting is a little loose.
The slide copier works well using the macro mode of the camera although it is imperative to eliminate any dust from the slide.
It would have helped to explain that an adapter was also being shipped which was used to attach the Opteka Slide Copier to the camera model chosen. It was confusing to see the same picture of the Opteka Slide Copier for all of the different camera choices but no accopanying adapter included in the picture.
My biggest complaint was that, despite 47St Photo saying they could ship internationally, Amazon insisted that the product had to be shipped to a US address which was a significant inconvenience.

Fast delivery, good service. The Opteka HD2 slide copier for my Canon A540 do a very good job to transfert my slides to jpg format. I can use the automatic or manual setting on my A540. The zoom on the A540 do a good job to zoom in or zoom out the image. If possible use daylight source to have color fidelity. The printing result is impressive. Good deal for the price.

Easy to Use Slide Transfer to Digital February 19, 2007

This item was very easy to attach to my Canon A540 and worked exactly as described. I found that daylight produced more natural looking color than when using light bulb illumination. Pictures came out sharp as the originals.
