Amazon.com With a compact design and expandable functionality, the Uniden TRU9460 offers a range of high performance features. Call Waiting Caller ID includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows your most frequently dialed names and numbers moved into the permanent 10-station speed dial. Redial any of the last three numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent, clear 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission. This set includes one handset; the system is expandable to a total of ten. You can transfer incoming calls between each handset, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. What's in the Box: Cordless handset, handset charger, belt clip, battery, AC adapter, telephone line cord, user's manual, warranty card

Disappointed April 21, 2008 I've owned a 900MHz Uniden Extend-A-Phone for over 10 years and I've been happy with it - the only exception there is that the range is pretty limited. With the good experience with the Uniden product and wanting to get something more up to date, I selected the Uniden 5.8 GHz model that included call ID features. Getting the unit up and working was simple enough - as any phone should be. Programming the call entries wasn't too bad but I don't like the method for activating the calls from the list. It makes 3 way calling much more difficult when using entries from the address book. But one of the most annoying things about this phone is that I have to set the time of day and day of week. I don't know why this information isn't simply taken from the caller ID message. It wouldn't be so bad to set it once, but this phone has the nasty habit of resetting when I plug it in the charger after a call. The call could be 2 minutes or 92 minutes and it may or may not reset when placed in the charger. 2 stars because it does have good range, but I would expect that in any 5.8 phone. Bottom line for me is that this will be the last Uniden product I ever purchase.
HardTo Please March 5, 2008 I purchased this product for one of my sons for Christmas. Needless to say from the title he is a great guy but not easy to find a gift for. This phone was the purfect choice. It is simple to operate and dependable. NO fuss, no muss. Good look for a man. Havn't heard a single complaint. The best is, should he want to enhance his phone to a more than one device system it is a very economical and simple step. Also cudos to being able to find the perfect gift on line with such easy access and confidence.
Great Fetures but the older phone model had less static February 26, 2008 I replaced my old phone by the same manufacturer with this one. This has more feature and even a room monitor if you have the base unit. The only thing I don't like is that there is no channel search feature. I live in an area where a lot of interference can occur. I sometime have to hang up on a call and call beck to resolve the issue. Over all it is a good phone with mute, redial, programmable ring tones and even gives the date and time and automatically updates for Daylight Savings Time. I don't like how you try to call a number back in a different area code but the phone will not allow you to insert a 1 and then dial. You have to write the number down and manually enter 1 and the area code and number for calls our of your area code. Overall it is a nice phone.
good audio, but slow to ring February 24, 2008 I have had excellent luck with Uniden cordless phones for many years. This one seemed like a good idea. The audio quality is good, the battery life is good. The only issue I have with this phone is that it is the last phone in the house to ring. Alway one ring behind the rest. Not a huge issue, but annoying.
short range February 14, 2008 I sent this phone back because I could barley get 100 feet before being out of range
