great machine September 18, 2008 Katerina Philippe (Los Angeles, Ca USA) This is the second of these that I have purchased. Bottom line, I love this machine. The best feature is the cost-sell-margin buttons. Very few if any adding machines have this feature and it is the most useful of all feature for an adding machine if you are in business. Quality is great, how can you go wrong?
A great tool at tax time March 21, 2007 K. Ludewig (Cave Creek, AZ USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Excellent features, easy to use, as good as the bigger models. A must have if you do your own accounting, especially at tax time.
great product November 3, 2006 Elizabeth A. Post-kemper (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got this one for a second desk in my home office - I have one at the first and love it. Great product.
No batteries included. September 12, 2005 Norton Pinzer (NY,NY) 5 out of 19 found this review helpful
It would be nice if the manufacturer provided the initial batteries, rather than finding out you need them after openiong ther box.
Nice Printing Calculator August 8, 2003 Danielle Hentz (Nashua, NH United States) 23 out of 25 found this review helpful
This Sharp EL-1750P is a pretty great printing calculator for the price. I needed one for my new job and didn't want to spend a lot, so this is what I got. The only thing that I didn't like about this calculator is that to subract one number from another, you have to press the number, then the plus sign, then the other number, then the minus sign. I don't know if this is how all of these types of calculators are or not, since this is the only one like this that I have ever used... but pressing the addition symbol to subract seemed a little weird to me. I am used to it now, but I tend to get frustrated using a regular calculator at home that actually adds everything when you hit the addition sign! Other than that, I am satisfied with the 18.99 I spent on it.
