 Nice watch, had to figure a bit on controls December 12, 2009

I bought this watch because it was on sale for $35 and I figured it would be nice to have to sneak music in almost anywhere.
Pros:
1) included headphones are nice, enough slack
2) watch serves as voice recorder, mp3 player, and flash drive
3) sound recorded is good quality
4) good sound quality
5) included pod cast software, even though I haven't used it, nice to know I can
6) glow in the dark dials and time tick marks are nice addition in absence of built in button light
7) steal at 35 bucks
cons:
1) not waterproof, for someone like me that woulda easily bumped the price up to 150
2) a lil bulky on the wrist, but not uncomfortable
3) controls are a bit confusing, after skimming through the instructions, I've yet to learn how to work the shuffle and master the sound recorder
4) for a unit so small I know it wouldn't have an organized way of picking songs besides moving forward and backwards through the tracks 1 by 1, but man is 1 gb a lot of music to go through to find that one song you want.

When I first got this, I just loved it. To me, it was perfect all around. It fitted perfectly, he looked perfected and all of that. I never knew that it used 2.5 mm headphones, so that kinda sucked for me. But when I tried to get my music on it, it took me a while just to get 5 songs on it because I use iTunes. Other then that, it was good.
Wait, also, now it has been around 3 weeks since I brought this and now, when I plug in my headphones, I cant hear my music and when I do hear it, it sounds like crap and I don't know if it's the headphone or the watch itself. I don't want to return it because I don't know whats wrong. Hopefully it's just the headphones.

To start off, the first one I received, the watch battery was dead. In this watch there are two batteries, the lithium rechargable one for the MP3 player and then a standard watch battery for the watch part. Well, the first one I received, the watch would not keep time. The thought of unscrewing the back off of this thing and poking around was not something I was excited about doing with the delicate workings inside, so I decided to send it back and ask for another one. The second one has been fine.
I travel overseas quite a bit and I didn't have a casual watch at the time. I also wanted an mp3 player and figured I would kill two birds with one stone. The watch works perfectly. The USB is hidden in the watch band and when you plug it up, it shows up like a flashdrive. Then use Windows Explorer to just drop your music on there and away you go. I changed the EQ to Rock and it sounds amazing on the provided earphone. And the earphones are great. They fit nicely in your ear and it has a couple of different sized buds.
Once you get the hang of the buttons, which one is stop, tap once to skip to the next song, hold down to raise the volume, etc., it is a breeze to operate. I use the voice recorder to help me remember things while I am away that I need to do when I get home.
But the most important thing is that you will always have a USB flash drive with you at all times! This thing has saved me and others quite a few times when someone (sometimes me) needed to move a file or copy something and no one had a flash drive. I love watching people's eyes when I pull off my watch slide the clasp down to reveal the USB connector! Though the Dick Tracy jokes got old pretty fast.
Love it.
