Add me to the list of customers pleased with this product. I previously used the suction-cup mount for my nuvi, but that has been shelved in favor of this friction device. I often move my nuvi between cars, and this makes it a very easy process. There is enough grip in the mount to prevent sliding and enough to allow adequate finger pressure on the touch screen to make selections without disrupting the position of the gps. You can swivel the stem 360 degrees, and even remove the stem for easier packing, if you are traveler like me who uses the nuvi in different rental cars.

After almost a year of frustration with the GPS windshield mount falling off (we went through several windshield mounts) we purchased this friction mount. Wish we would have done it sooner. Garmin should include this with the GPS. It stays wherever you place it on your dash. An added plus, it's convenient to move around from vehicle to vehicle.

I purchased this bean bag dashboard mount after reading about how just the suction cup, left on my windshield, can attract thieves to break into my car. Its works just fine and i like the angle much better from the bean bag mount!

My older Garmin 2610 is so bulky that it must be used with the friction mount, which I've grown to love over the years, since it places the unit closer to me, and it allows for quick and easy removal and storage. The mount stays in place, even during spirited driving. Don't be squeamish attaching the mount to the unit - it takes considerable force.
