Product Description Pharos Pocket GPS Navigator iGPS-SD - GPS receiver module for Pocket PC Marketing Description Pharos iGPS-SD receiver is an ultra compact, highly sensitive, 12-channel GPS receiver that plugs directly into the secure digital port of a Pocket PC. Compatible with SDIO devices, the iGPS-SD is now bundled with StarCaddy Golf software. The StarCaddy Golf software uses Pharos iGPS-SD receiver to give golfers accurate, GPS-based yardages on the golf course. Golfers can use StarCaddy to determine the exact yardage to any course feature (greens, hazards etc), keep score and take the guesswork out of their game. StarCaddy uses detailed digital course maps created from satellite and aerial imagery to display the exact position of the golfer and all course features.

Save your money January 24, 2008 Eric (Aurora, Co) This device is incompatible with the XV6700. Mobile PC. The size of the device is also not correct for the CD adapter. I tried using an adapter for the phone and the device would not even be recognized. Same for loading into a Laptop PC. Go but a real Bluetooth or USB GPS device and save yourself some frustration and money.
Do not even look at Amazon's picture December 7, 2007 M. Bird (Mancos, CO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The picture shown is not this product. This product only comes with the receiver and a trial of the software. I can not tell you how well it works because I returned it unopen since I thought I was getting more for my money.
Windows Mobile 5 Incompatible August 23, 2007 Lee Almodovar 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
You're better off spending the extra money to acquire a stand-alone GPS unit than wasting money on something that is completely incompatible with all Windows Mobile 5 devices. On top of that, the standalone software that comes with this device takes up so much room that I had to store it on an SD card, completely defeating the purpose of having an SDIO device. I love my TomTom, which I acquired refurbished after failing to have this run, and would recommend acquiring that instead of this device.
