My umbrella arrived with a tip of unpolished almost raw wood. it looks looked like it was carved with a knife or something. After a couple weeks the tip got worn and felt like it could split or just become ragged. then the tip got caught if a car door jam and broke. Otherwise this is a great umbrella. If you don't mind an unfinished tip then you might like this one.

What! Better than a 360 you say? Or maybe it is more like: What! is a 360?
Either way it was not because there is anything wrong with my console, it's because this umbrella is the bee's knees (that is to say- really great). It's a classy design, wooden handle and all, with a gust protection system (not to get too technical) built right in. The feature that I really love is the auto open. You can literally open this umbrella with one hand. With one finger. For its size, that is something that is gratifying when your hands are basically full and you are about to go into rain.
Apparently there are some models that have a really giant ugly logo of the company on the umbrella. Not the case with this model. The only logo is on one of the straps, and is small and not colorful or annoying.
Show your friends you don't want rain on your head in style.

 Overpriced, broke from hinges in NYC winds March 15, 2010

I bought this overpriced umbrella because it was advertised to beat the winds and it didnt exactly do that. I was in NYC and it gets very windy there..and this umbrella broke from the hinges which push and keep the umbrella open. I have seen other reviews describing a similar problem..the hinges dont appear to be well made with a decent quality material and explains why it broke...what a waste of 35 dollars...
I would not advise others to buy this. Why not buy a $10 umbrella so you wont have to regret it when it breaks..

This is an outstanding umbrella, and it works as advertised in the often windy rain of Seattle. I do wish I would have bought the smaller one though for more money. This thing is huge! I'm not a big guy, but I feel like I'm walking around with a parachute! I think I got some lift one time when it was super windy. I'm not a big guy, so I find I am only using this when I know it's a severe storm on the way. Don't take this as a knock on the product itself though. It's a great, ginormous blue umbrella.

Great Umbrella stands up to high winds and torrential rain. Has a wonderfully classic look and is also very well balanced. Strong enough to doubles as a light cane (very useful for wet and muddy areas). The 48" size make it perfect for full coverage.
