Cobra NavOne Ext Antenna April 6, 2008
Maybe it works ok, maybe not. A couple of times I have waited a long time, 5 minutes, to have the GPS unit recognize the satellites and it still didn't. The External antenna's light blinked green to show it had a good fix with the sattelites but the GPS still didn't recognize them. I found that restarting the GPS by turnning it off and back on seemed to fix the problem.
This may be a problem with the NavOne 4500 software.
