Logitech MX400 Mouse
Last month I replaced a failing Dell mouse with the Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse. I particularly wanted a cord type mouse and after trying several in the store, I settled on this one, then purchased it through Amazon.
I was drawn to the black and grey color scheme, more so to the contour shape since it fit comfortably into my arthritic hand.
Installation was a snap, programming easy. The increased accuracy of the laser technology over the trackball is brilliant. This mouse does so much more than any previously owned that I'm still in learning mode. For example, with the Logitech MX400 tracking is flawless on virtually any surface and one can scroll side to side and zoom in for closeup shots with the innovative Tilt Wheel Plus Zoom. Forward and backward buttons perform effortlessly for Web browsing and the soft contour sides fit a medium to small hand perfectly.
It has a PS/2 port or USB interface so works with any PC or Mac computer. SetPoint software guides you through the added features setup for Windows XP or Vista (downloads available at Logitech for Windows 98, ME and 2000).

Received this mouse 2 days ago and am extremely pleased! I've had a Sharkoon Rush mouse that lasted me less than 12 months (and I'm just the average pc user, not a gamer) before the wheel stopped reacting.
Now I've gone back to Logitech which has never let me down (was just a bit pricey). This mouse cost me less than 30 Euros and I'm totally happy with it. There is no loud sound when the clicking wheel is pushed gently (like in Woman) and it works like a charm.
Another good thing is that it hasn't got any shiney stuff on it to distract me. The laser is invisible or something. Love it, love it, love it.
Would recommend it to anyone any time, especially at that price.

It's been a month or so since I got this mouse and so far it is doing pretty well. It is quite accurate and smooth. Also fits well in my palm. On the whole - a good purchase.

The design is intended for normal positioning and comfort of the hand, reducing pressure to the carpal region of the wrist. Users may navigate with ease and speed using buttons, wheel, and a tilt of the mouse. Highly recommended for users with carpal tunnel issues.
