It's getting harder and harder to find 35mm slide film. While I also shoot digital, the color saturation and quality is superior with 35mm, especiall slide film. As a hobby, I shoot stereo pictures and project them for viewing. Slide film is a must. Thanks!
Fine Amateur Version of Kodak's new saturated Ektachromes August 6, 2001

Kodak Elite Chrome 100 is one of the finest slide films currently available. With regards to sharpness and contrast, it is surpassed only by Kodachrome 64 and Fujichrome Velvia and Provia 100 films; it is certainly as saturated as these, if not more. It uses the same technology which Kodak introduced for its new Ektachrome 100 VS saturated professional slide film; as an amateur version of Ektachrome 100 VS, it should be less susceptible to rapid changes in temperature than the professional version. From my own experience I have found that this film produces bright, bold colors. If you're interested in subdued colors, then this film won't be your primary choice.
