THE MIGHTY BRIGHT XTRAFLEX2 LIGHT IS GREAT FOR THE KINDLE.....LOVE IT! GREAT FOR MAGAZINES ALSO....GREAT ALL AROUND LITTLE CLIP ON LIGHT STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT!

The light is a bit bulky and not convenient to carry around. It is effective, however, and does provide the illumination needed, in low light situations.

I find the flex light extremely useful. It fits my Kindle excellently. Also, the base is weighted by the 3 AAA batteries and it makes a tiny stand alone lamp, handy by my bedside (especially when traveling).

I clip the Mighty Bright to the top of the Kindle case, and it works beautifully.
We have just been on a long trip, and since the light can stand on its own, it sometimes served as a little bed table light when the hotel did not provide one.
One suggestion: it looks as if the light could turn on accidentally in one's carry-on case, although this didn't happen to me.

Best Book Light Ever . . . August 27, 2008
. . . and I've tried them all. This is even better than the book light I have been lugging around for the past six years, the one that took four C batteries and weighed a ton. I bought the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 to illuminate my Kindle in the wee hours and quickly saw the benefits of using it to light up my paper books as well. It is definitely mighty bright and flexible. There's a serious clip that keeps it firmly attached to my Kindle and books. Best of all, it weighs so little that I hardly notice it's there.
