They charge in 15 minutes in the IC3 charger and last longer than a single set of alkaline batteries on each charge. If you use a high drain device like a digital camera you will see the savings quickly. If you use a low drain device like a TV remote control you may not see the dollar for dollar savings as quickly, but please think about what it does to the environment to throw out disposable batteries. Take the initiative and replace all of your batteries with rechargeable batteries. And the IC3 batteries are the best.
