Minnie Mouse (Logitech Nano VX Laser mouse) is great! July 6, 2008 I ordered this mouse for my laptop at work, and it's the greatest! It was easy to set up, and is more versatile than I even need. I was so impressed I bought it's big brother (Logitech MX Revolution) for use at home. They are the best mice I've used. I recommend both to anyone upgrading to laser mice.
Love it July 5, 2008 Bluetooth never left my notebook regardless if I have my mouse with me or not. If you use bluetooth stick before, you know what I mean. Glide smoothly, much better than my mx5000 series. Much better connections. Nice buy if the price is right.
Logitech VX Nano Notebook Cordless Laser Mouse......THE BEST July 5, 2008 This is the most enjoyable and responsive cordless mouse that I've ever used. The size is perfect as it just fits in your hand. The diminutive size of the receiver is deceptive as it has strong signal.
My husband looks on enviously while he uses his notebook. (He's looking for Logitech coupons.)
Best wireless mouse for Notebooks July 5, 2008 I recently purchased a new Toshiba notebook and I was in the market for a notebook mouse. I have tried two other mice but this is the best one of the 3. It has everything a full size wireless mouse in a smaller package. PROS: The buttons and the left/right scroll are programmable. Small USB transceiver can be left installed when not in use. Power button on mouse. Storage in mouse for USB transceiver. USB extension cable to use with desktop PC. The laser quality is so good I don't use a mouse pad.
CONS: If you have large hands, you won't find this mouse comfortable.
I suggest you not bother installing the software from the CD provided because it is outdated. I tried that first and the mouse control settings did not get installed. I downloaded the latest software from the Logitech website and it works great with Vista Home Premium (32 bit OS).
The cursor movements and the scrolling are very smooth and the settings can also be adjusted using the Logitech software.
The USB transceiver is so tiny you can leave it installed in the USB port and you don't have to worry about knocking it off. You can also remove it and put it inside the mouse next to the battery. The mouse has a power button on the bottom so you can turn it off when not in use and it comes with USB extension cable to use with a desktop PC and a mesh carrying case.
I have small hands so the small size of the mouse is not a negative for me. Other notebook mice are the same size or even smaller.
The VX Nano is one of the more expensive wireless notebook mice but well worth it for all its features.
Perfect mobile mouse July 3, 2008 I stayed away from wireless mice in favor of their bluetooth cousins because of the size of the wireless receivers. I am a MacBook Pro user and just did not want the big receiver protruding from the side of my laptop. With the advent of the Logitech nano receiver I feel as though my shackles have been released. No longer am I bound to an unresponsive bluetooth mouse. I open my computer and my mouse responds instantly. I don't have to jiggle and click to get it the computer to recognize the mouse. And the mouse is great in its own right. The extra buttons are in the right places and the scroll wheel is perfect. The mouse is on the small side and some folks may want a bigger mouse for every day use but as a mobile solution this mouse has no equal.
