Fast, inexpensive, everything... September 19, 2008 Ben S. (Portland, OR) It's an honestly priced SDHC card- very inexpensive but it does what any class 6 must do. My only problem is that a past 4 GB card I got off eBay about a year ago (for twice the price of this 8 GB card on Amazon) in new state stopped working, after about 6000 photos. Apparently these things last long though, so it likely was just a fluke. Also, the label may start to peel off if you don't insert/remove with special care. But overall excellent product, better than just "bang for the buck".
does not work for long--2 STARS September 19, 2008 Mario II (St Louis MO) We purchased this card but it did not last more than 6 months. I now only buy reliable cards--ie from Kingston, SanDisk, etc. I think the other companies that have higher costs which are clearly worth it. For some reason the AMazon website is not letting me choose the number of stars, so I am placing that fact in the title of this review.
3rd SD card September 19, 2008 Joseph N. Scialabba This is my third Transcend SD HC class 6 card. I use one in my canon powershot G9 and with the review screen disabled I can take 12 megapixel pictures as fast as the camera can auto focus and recharge the flash
A lot of space September 19, 2008 Sean Caulfield (Seattle, WA) I was a bit skeptical at first due to the relatively unknown brand and some negative reviews. After I got it though I was really impressed with it. It can hold about 475 RAW images using my Rebel xsi. If I'm shooting JPEG Hi quality I can hold about 1300 images. Overall, I have a lot of space and it runs well. No problems with it so far. It has a great price as well. Do yourself a favor and buy this card so you don't have to swap cards out so often.
manufacture defect September 18, 2008 J. Ye (Shanghai and New York) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Transcent 8gb card I received was defect, and no camera or computer could find the card when I inserted it. I bought it in California and returned to work with it to Shanghai - so I have no way to sent it back.
