I purchased the Transend 8GB SDHC Card in the beginning of August. I put it in my digital camera and it seemed to be OK. I didn't need to use the camera until the end of September and when I turn on the camera, I get a card error. Reformatting does not help and since it is past the Amazon 30 day return period, it turns into a throw away. Moral, if you have money to throw away then buy this memory chip from Amazon.

This card has the most memory of any card I've used in the past. Make sure you have a card reader that can read HC cards though as I couldn't read it with my standard card reader. Nice price too.
