Love it!! July 31, 2008 Rebecca (Chi., IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got the camera about a month ago, we have a larger Canon, I just wanted something pocket-sized to take pics of friends. So far, it's perfect! Easy to use, easy to carry, great pictures, definitely a good buy.
Horrible picture quality July 30, 2008 Jersey Girl (20 minutes from NYC) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this camera to replace another Canon that I owned that got destroyed when it got wet. That older digital took fabulous photos. This one takes horrible ones. They almost universally look grainy especially if using the flash or the zoom. If I could do it all over again, I would most definitely NOT get this camera. Thank goodness that I have a new Canon SLR as well. However, that one doesn't take pictures as well as the one I had before it either. Obviously, Canon's quality is going downhill - say downhill.
Nice so far... July 28, 2008 T. Beckett Jr. The camera is what I expected as far as taking pictures. I can say that my use is limited compared to some so I want the camera to be intuitive, easy to use, without having to remember a lot things. The menus are not the easiest to navigate. Maybe if you are used to this menu but my last camera was a powershot and I still can't find things that I'm looking for. My only other complaint is that the zoom feature should be much easier to access. Yes, it is in the normal spot on top but it is very flat and difficult to press to the right or left quickly. Besides that, the pictures look very nice and it is very impressive in low light situations... at least in my opinion.
Awesome July 21, 2008 Joseph Sargent (Rensellaer, NY USA) Nice Camera with nice quality photos. I would suggest getting some sort of screen protector... Its worth the few dollars to prevent scratches. There is also a way that you can add software and added features to the camera. I would suggest this product to anyone.
A little wonder July 21, 2008 Viktor Taras (Denver,CO USA) If you are looking for an easy to understand and operate camera, this is one. And pictures and video quality is very good in all modes. But follow the manual.
