I bought this product just over a year ago (same product brand/model, different retailer) and we simply LOVE IT! For only $200 you get a real outdoor movie theatre experience and very jealous neighbors.
Keep in mind you need plenty of space for not only the screen, but for the tie-downs also. Also, this will not work in windy conditions.
We bought this specifically to play family movies outside in the back yard for large and small family gatherings.
This also works great for church groups!
Once you've set it up once or twice it ecomes very easy and the motors that keep it inflated are not heard once your movie starts up. You definately need to use he screw in tie-downs. However, we have used this a couple of times in a parking lot with no grass/dirt and were able to tie it down using cement building block.
Though the screen will have wrinkles in it, you will not notice them at night with the movie playing.
Every time we fire this up, our neighbors start migrating to our yard.
We never want to go to the movie theatre anymore and pay $9 each. We always want to invite people over and make some drinks and BBQ and have our own outdoor theatre experience.
Pros:
1. Low cost
2. Quality construction.
3. Huge WOW factor.
4. Screen shows the movie very well.
5. Easy set-up once you get the hang of it.
Cons:
1. Takes two people to setup and tear down.
2. Gotta have a yard for the tie downs.
3. Wind will blow thisthing into your neighbors yard or at least double it over.
4. Needs lots of space for screen and tie-downs.
I highly recommend this great family fun!
