Graywolf Screen July 4, 2008 MJ (Ca, USA) It arrived on time and in good condition. It has a perfect resolution which is very compatible with my digital projector. Excellent.
Very solid build quality January 24, 2008 Dr. D. (San Antonio, TX.) This is a very well made manual screen. I have used it for about a month now and so far, it has performed extremely well. When I installed the screen and pulled it down for the first time, there was a plastic sheet fixed to the innermost section of the screen. This is meant to be removed, but there is a `sticky' bar at the top of the viewing area that produced a significant out-gassing of the adhesive materials. The smell from the glue was quite strong at first and was still noticible for about a week or so. Now i is no longer an issue and that was my only negative comment on this great product.
Great budget orientated screen January 12, 2008 Innoculo (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had this screen for about a week. Good price to performance ratio. It looks fantastic in my main living room which where have trouble controlling ambient light. I am very pleased with the way it looks, but there are some drawbacks. The drawbacks are the screen does have some wavy parts which means if you sitting way below the screen, the image can have a wavy horizontal lines (on tickers for instance). If the screen is barely above your head this eliminates most of that effect. Also when the camera pans, you'll notice the wave effect more. There are higher end screens that are tensioned to eliminate that effect. The way they choose to retract the screen seems flawed. It isn't too bad when you get the hang of it, but at first you think the mechanism if broken. You really have to pull down and then lift up the screen very quickly. If you do it slow at all it will catch and you'll have to try again. I've gotten where I can retract the screen in one or two tries. Optoma/Panoview should have just put a button on the case which released the screen to roll it up. If you sit too close the glass beads on the screen do give you a sparkle effect. In that case move your sitting position back and that will be eliminated. From 8.5 feet is the minimum you can sit in my experience. If you sit closer you'll see sparkles. To be on the safe side I'd say 9 feet. I'm using the screen with a Optoma HD7100 and I'm quite satisfied considering the price of the screen. If I do have a dedicated HT where I can place a mounted screen, it probably would be a better way to go to eliminate the wave effect. Not to mention it looks nicer. I give it 4 out of 5 stars as the problems is has can be overcome and they don't really detract from the performance. I'd buy it again if I had too.

Pros: Ultimate viewing experience. 1.8 gain enhances the brightness. A must for any kind of projector. Cons: Price
Matches great with the HD 70 November 9, 2007 NYC R.W. (NY, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading up reviews on avs forum, I had to try out this screen. It makes the image sharper and more defined. Definitely an improvement from offwhite wall screen. Though this screen is gray because of the glass bead it reflects and has significant gains.
