Using a chart supplied by Kodak, I determined that this lens would be the most cost-effective product for my needs. This has turned out to be correct. It delivers a clear, sharp image, with no apparent color fringes. Having a fixed focal length, it is, of course, not flexible as to distance versus image size. It performs as advertized and would have garnered a 5 rating, had it been a little less expensive.
