The scope's main features include a multicoated lens system that lets in up to 92 percent of available light, a bullet drop compensating (BDC) 200 reticle that provides a precise 200-yard aiming point, precise 1/4 MOA hand-turn windage and elevation adjustments, and an all-purpose matte black finish. The BDC reticle is perhaps the most compelling feature, as its trajectory-compensating system is designed and calibrated to provide fast, simple aiming points for various shot distances, including 100, 150, and 200 yards. The unique system integrates a series of small "ballistic circles" to produce an unobstructed view of the target. Since I was looking for a scope for my hunting shotgun, I decided I wanted a high quality glass, that would last a lifetime. Since this scope is designed for a slug gun, it has a very long eye relief, and a very compact design. Great clarity and light transmission, and I love the lifetime warranty. If you follow the instructions for the BDC reticle very carefully, you can make very accurate shots out to 200 yards! Which is incredible for a shotgun slug!
