Product Description
The 028B Triman tripod is an ideal studio tripod for cameras up to medium format. The geared center column has a non roll-back feature and has a threaded 3/8 mount on the bottom of the column to allow low angle shots. The solid tripod/head plate has an industry standard 3/8 screw and three angled grub screws, which stop the head from unscrewing accidentally while in use and also block unwanted panoramic rotation or play between tripod and head. A twin shank leg design, built-in spirit level and rubber feet with retractable spikes are also standard features. The tripod uses a center column strut design for added stability. Includes a mid level spreader and carrying strap. The 501HDV pro video head features a spring loaded counterbalance that can easily be engaged or disengaged for different filming setups via an easy to reach switch. The counterbalance ensures smoother tilt movements while protecting your equipment even when the tilt locks are accidentally left off. Improved ergonomics for the locks and knobs provide a more solid grip and better fingertip control. A secondary security lock stops the quick release lever from opening fully keeping you from accidentally releasing the plate (and camera) without meaning to.
