Tripod was defective July 30, 2008 Merrill R. (Rick) Chapman (Connecticut) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Item was shipped with broken handle AND an invoice that claimed a tripod bag was in the box! RMA procedure by Amazon is very good.
Great budget tripod June 2, 2008 M. Williams (New Jersey) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This tripod is great for anyone on a budget. Its construction, while not overly impressive, gives the sense that it won't tip over. Beyond that, it does what it's meant to do -- holds a camera steady and allows you as the photographer to make adjustments easily and with precision. The built-in level helps get things straight, while the adjustment knobs are easy to learn and work well for quick adjustments. I really can't ask for anything more for the price. Simply put, if you don't want to spend over $100 on a tripod, this is the one to get.
solid construction, great value April 28, 2008 Jared W. Lynem It's not a ball-joint but for the price it's quite good. Very stable, but perhaps not heavy enough if you are really looking for something professional. Build quality is quite satisfactory.
Light but effective April 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a very good tripod. It's not quite as easy to use such as a VERY expensive tripod, but overall it's pretty easy to use. The only thing is, when you want to shoot in high angle and then switch to low angle, you have to release the camera and then put it back the other way. Other than that, it's stable, it has a quick release, and it looks and feels very professional.
