Amazon.com Product Description
A 2.4 GHz analog phone from Uniden, the EXI-3226 has a number of useful features, including caller ID/call waiting capability, dual keypads, four-way conferencing, and two-line operation. The EXI-3226 provides 80 caller ID memory locations, as well as a built-in speakerphone for hands-free operation.

By utilizing the 2.4 GHz analog frequency, the EXI-3226 is able to offer clear, intelligible reception even at a distance. Users can switch between 20 different channels to get the best signal, while a display and dial feature provides quick access to numbers in the phone book and caller ID memory. A time/date stamp lets you know when each incoming call was received, while a 40 number phone directory lets you store the most frequently used phone numbers.

Handset and ringer volumes are adjustable, while an any key answer feature lets you answer the phone by pressing any button. A 32-number redial lets you easily call the last dialed number, while a call transfer feature lets you transfer calls between the base and handset.

The NiCAD battery has a 7 hour recharge time (14 days on standby), while the low-battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to its base. The two-way intercom lets you easily communicate with others in the home or office, while a page button on the base makes finding a lost handset quick and painless.

Wall-mountable, freeing up valuable desktop space, the EXI-3226 is also headset and hearing aid compatible (a belt-clip is provided) saving your neck from the strain of cradling the phone. The EXI-3226 also comes backed with a one-year warranty on both parts and labor.

1 out of 5 stars Grossly inferior   January 20, 2008

Poor construction, poor sound quality and lack of essential features, such as visual indication of waiting voice mail, make this product one of the worst possible choices.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT LITTLE CORDLESS   June 16, 2007

I bought this phone about two years ago just because I ran across it on sale. I just recently started using it. I do not understand all the bad reviews. Some reviewers mention the answering device -- this model does NOT have an answering device, so.... There are all the options I needed. The ring is pure and adjustable, the voice clarity is good, there's no static, the range is great -- from the third floor of my house to out in the yard to the inside of my neighbor's house is fine. Plus, it's cute. The round speaker gives an old fashioned look to a modern product. I'm very pleased with it.

1 out of 5 stars This is a dog   April 3, 2007

I own two of these dogs, thanks to BellSouth/ATT. I had a set of Siemens 2-line cordless, but a power surge killed them and BellSouth/ATT replaced them with these Uniden models under warranty. The best thing about the EXI3226 is the shipping box. Everything else is junk. The range is limited to one room, so the cordless aspect is extremely limited. The best thing I can say is that the battery life is good. Other than the battery life, this phone is a dog. If this is typical of Uniden's products, I would not expect them to be around much longer.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible   December 25, 2006

Returning. As the last reviewer said there is a clicking or popping sound every second or two. I think that this is a 2.4Ghz analog phone, not digital. Could be interference from the wireless network. Changing channels doesn't help much. Any any rate, aside from the popping, the sound is muffled. Our AT&T sounds much clearer. My advice- choose something else.

1 out of 5 stars radio shack version not so good either   December 30, 2005

I bought the Radio Shack version of this phone (same phone, different labels) and it is has a horrible popping noise every second or two. The speakerphone part works okay.
