Plain and simple... November 27, 2008 James J. Espejo (New York, USA) Had an old Kensington Serial ball mouse (yeah im old). well MOBO's really dont come with serial ports anymore, and this old friend just was working anymore. It was the one with the cue-ball, large and awsome. Well here comes the predessor.. and I got to say, 3 years going with the child and its simple and easy to use... if your 40 something and want the past back, go for this pup.
ok but November 12, 2008 mark grigg (Oakboro, NC) This is OK but not as good as my Logitec, only plus is the plug and play no software.
Great product November 4, 2008 Johnie Thomsen The Kensington Orbit Optical Trackball Mouse is an outstanding device for computer input. The ball rolls very smoothly and is very accurate. The one feature I miss in this product is the direct access buttons the Turbo Mouse Pro had.
Satisfied customer October 30, 2008 M. Huntington (Minnesota, United States) Perfect item for the cluttered desk. No more reaching the end of your mouse's cord or running into the stack of paperwork. Functional, no problems despite very heavy use since its purchase. Quite ergonomic, plus it looks very classy, almost a piece of sculpture on my cherry-wood desk (unlike some of the others available, eye-sores with a fluorescent red ball!).
Not a bad mouse, but it needs a scroll ring October 21, 2008 Anthony Hologounis (Ellenton, FL) I bought this to add to my collection of trackball mice. I have the kensington expert which is a great mouse, except for the cost. The orbit optical is a fine 2 button mouse, but in todays computing environment the lack of a scroll wheel/ring is the kiss of death. For casual use it is fine and I ran with it for about a week. The biggest con at the end of it all was the lack of scroll wheel/ring. I could get auto-scroll to work in firefox by pressing both buttons simultaneously, but that was tedious. Hopefully kensington will revisit this design and add the scroll function to an otherwise fine mouse.
