Excellent November 26, 2008 Leksi Bauer Asturias (Guatemala, Guatemala) My first gaming optical mouse. Excellent mouse, still working after a few years of hard work :) Was replaced by a more advanced Logitech MX500, but still use it constantly. It rocks!
the only Microsoft product I like November 19, 2008 Anon Anon I've used this mouse for decades. My current Intellimouse is over 10 years old, and still works beautifully. It's comfortable in my hands (I wear a ladies' size small glove, for reference). It's very accurate and smooth. The five buttons are great - they make surfing so much faster, and because they're programmable, I can find a use for all five in almost every program. It blows people's minds when they watch me navigate because I can do things without them seeing it just by clicking a button on the mouse, rather than going to a menu or the keyboard. I have several Macintoshes and once had a Windows laptop. The Intellimouse works well on all of them. It does require a downloaded driver, but it's a small price to pay for this kind of functionality.
I Replaced My Abused Intellimouse. November 11, 2008 Anthony M. Kreitzberg I'm a hard core gamer, the left button on my mice gets thrashed. It took three years , but the left button started to double click on it's own, so I retired it to backup status (I can always program the middle button for single click). I like the MS Intellimouse, it's rugged (really), quick, never gives me "jumping cursor syndrome", and, I like wired opticals. Love the 5 buttons.
Great mouse and no hassle October 4, 2008 M. Smith Like most I run through computer mice and other pointing devices on a regular basis. Long ago I gave up the ball mouse for an optical version. This one's nice in that you can program all the controls for your preferences or leave it at default as it came from the factory. When surfing or doing work, knowing you can just slighly move a finger or thumb and go back or forward a website, or forward or back a page in a document you're working on, very nice. One of the better features is the scroll wheel. Like most, you can program it for how fast scolling will be (light speed or a slow crawl) but when you depress the wheel all the open windows adjust on your desktop, all displayed. Now all you need to do is move to the one you want to work on, click it and ta da, that's now the active window...wait, not the right one? Not a problem, click the scroll wheel again and you're right back to all the open windows displayed, pick another. Lightweight, sturdy, good choice for those who don't want to change batteries all the time.
best mouse i ever used October 3, 2008 Michael P. Lucht I think this is the best mouse i have ever used and everybody I let use it buys one. I like that it has 5 button so you can go back and forward when surfing the web. In program button to do shortcuts,
