As a self employed videographer, my requirements are simple, the best product at the best price. The Manfrotto 351MVB2 with the 503HDV Pro Fluid Head from Amazon fill both requirements and let's not forget about the really nice included padded carrying case. The tripod might be a little on the heavy side, but its rock solid construction makes it a super stable platform to operate from. The legs extend easily and leveling the half ball is accomplished in minimal time. The lighted level bubble is a very nice little feature for those times when shooting in low light. The spiked legs with two sets of shoes make this tripod an even better purchase. There is only one way to describe the 503HDV Pro Fluid Head, `smooth as glass'. Pan's and tilt's are smooth and effortless, rendering very professional end results. Mounting one of our Sony HVRZ7U's is a snap with the supplied plate. The large and well placed knobs and locking screws make mounting, setting fluid control and counter balance quick and painless. For those who want a well built, easy to use tripod and head package, I strongly recommend this particular setup, its money well spent.
