So far this charger seems to work as advertised, but I've yet to test it under extreme circumstances (i.e. a marathon vacation). The charged battery lasts longer than I expected, so it sure beats buying batteries and throwing them away. Charger is lite and small and therefore good for traveling. My only complaint is that it uses a single, color-changing (amber-green-red) light to display the charge status. I have some color blindness issues which render the light virtually useless! I wish companies would stop combining so many functions into one light or control.

Charger works great and charges the batteries quickly (2.5 Hrs or less). Has battery refresh feature. Works for both the AA style rechargable NiMH batteries and the Kodak KAA2HR NiMH battery pack.

Bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law because her Kodak digital camera went through batteries much too fast. She still has to charge this a lot, but it charges really fast.
