I was initially looking at a 32" tv, and was set on this mount. Then my wife and i decided to go for a 40"... I guess we could no longer get this mount, right? Wrong! I went to the peerless company website (great site and product support) The product spec for this model lists 40" as the max size, with a top weight of 80lbs (our tv is 60lbs).
The mount looks small compared to the TV, but it is very well made. it comes with great instructions, and was not to hard to mount.
TV looks great on the wall, and we love the flexability of positions. It is also a fraction of the cost of many other mounts. You wont be disapointed.
As always, Amazon service was great- I can't believe the things I am now willing to buy online with their great customer service.

I had to do major reconstuctive surgery to make this work with my Sony Bravia because the connections are right in the area where the panel mounts. So unless you are handy, you may want to look elsewhere for a support arm.

This product excels in every way possible. It is very well manufactured, exceptionally strong, has a smooth movement, is simple to adjust, and installs easily without help. With the hook type mount you can even hang the monitor without a second pair of hands. The finishes and look is great. Even the cord channels are large enough to be easily used and keep the cords nice and neat.

Cons: Time wasted looking at a zillion other products before finding this one

this fixture is compact and useful the hinge - like articulation allows a range of positions , it is close to the wall to hide the mechanism from view.... be sure to anchor it to a stud so it can support the tv and not pull when the tv is attached

This is a great product and is easy to install. I mounted a new Samsung 32 in LCD tv to a bedroom wall. Did not need any assistence to hang the tv onto the mount but, if another person is available, two would make it that mush easier.
