pretty good September 30, 2008 S. Sheffield (brooklyn ny) all in all, this is a pretty good mp3 player. the battery life is great, and it works incredibly well w/ rhapsody. my only complaint is that there's no easy way to toggle between radio and your music.
Sansa Foo September 30, 2008 E. Hampson (Berkeley, CA United States) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Have only tried this Sansa product, so am no Sansa junkie/expert, but must say that I was thoroughly disappointed. Upon downloading the Real Rhapsody software and going through all of the motions in order to download music onto this baby, I found that it literally skipped every song. Am sure that not every player they make has this glaring defect, but it was enough trouble to take music off of the thing and send it back that I just returned to the not-so-perfect but still trustworthy iPod. Additional issue was that the radio signal, in my experience, was not strong enough to pick up more than a half-dozen stations decently, and even then what was supposed to be full volume sounded like half.
Disappointed with Sansa AND Amazon! September 26, 2008 Music Lover (Orlando, FL USA) 7 out of 11 found this review helpful
I just received my SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB MP3 Player (Silver) today. I was very excited, since I already have a smaller Sansa that I just love. The Fuze looked great when I opened it, but when I plugged it in to start loading music on it, I noticed that somebody had already put songs on it!! Not only that, but after a few minutes the screen went black and it completely died! What was sold to me by Amazon as a new product was actually USED!! I am beyond furious. They obviously re-packaged somebody else's defective MP3 player and shipped it back out! I have spent thousands of dollars shopping at Amazon over many years, but I'm not sure I will any more.
Great for the price September 25, 2008 R. Barbour (Colorado Springs, CO) I've been out of the mp3 market for a while. I didn't like the functionality and lack of controlled offered by Ipod. So, I tried the Sansa Fuze instead. Thus far, I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is the volume control. When i plug it in (thru the headphone jack) to a stereo or my car, i have to turn it all the way up in order for it not to be quite on the stereo. Other than that, it's great.
Fantastic ! Multi-Function with Expansion September 19, 2008 Patricia A. Seminatore (Roswell, NM) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was running two Rio MP3's for all my music. NOW, I have one with lots of functionality. Photo, FM Radio, Movie, Music. It fits inside your pocket, with sound that can't be beat. Now, I'm shopping for a desk speaker system that will enhance the sound. This will give the ipod competion, and the price is on the mark.
