Good product, but need good seller February 5, 2010 R. Hiesterman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love this product, works great, just could not find one that was 100% at Amazon...had to send the one I got back because the power would not stay on, received a new one and the power button didn't work on it so...I got my money back. Unfortunately though I still had to pay shipping charges even though it wasn't my fault the product didn't work properly.
poor product January 31, 2010 Janice H. Watlington (Philadelphia, PA) The dvd/vcr was difficult at best to setup. And to make matters worse, I was never able to use it to record any dvds. Last but not least, the vcr stopped working after a two month period.
non-functioning waste of money January 6, 2010 A. Prill I bought one of these as a Christmas gift for my mother, and it wouldn't read any DVD that was put in it. I exchanged it for the same thing and the second one doesn't work either. Both units have disk read errors and on the rare occasion that they will read the disk, the picture is choppy and the sound cuts in and out. There is also pixilation issues with the image. Also, the box says that it is a recorder, don't be fooled into thinking its a DVD/R, it can only record to VHS.
Do not ever buy this product.
Good quality for the money December 28, 2009 Diane I. Amos Nice to see we can still get VHS recorders so inexpensively. Works fine and quality is high.
A good VCR/DVD recording combo. December 22, 2009 Norma Riemer (Lindale, TX) I got a refurbished Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo in mid November. It works well and is easy to use. I was very pleased about how quickly I got it, too. The only thing I'm not completely pleased about is the Owner's Manual. The way it is set up is confusing. It is not an original manual, so the company I bought the VCR/DVD Combo from simply made a photo copy of the manual without putting the pages in the correct order. I think I'll be able to figure it out, though. If not, I might be able to get a better copy online. Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder/VCR Combo
