This IS NOT a DLP TV! It is a TV stand! If you look up the stock number (HLS4676S) you will see that the item is misrepresented. Don't be fooled.
 Great TV - One Catch December 1, 2007

The DLP Technology is exactly what I wanted in a TV. The differences between color, contrast, and overall viewing pleasure are negligible as compared to plasma screens of the same size and brand.
The options and connections make this TV great. There are more connections than the average person knows what to do with. It could probably be hooked up to a toaster somehow.
The two downfalls are the Game Mode and the sound system.
While the Game Mode is supposed to accommodate all gaming systems, there is a slight delay on anything as advanced as the Playstation 2 or beyond. If playing a very simple game with moderate colors, there is no problem. If playing a game that has a little more to it, however, the delay makes the game impossible to play competently. Every swing, throw, hit, or pitch in a sports game is about a half-second off, and don't even think about playing timing games like Guitar Hero or DDR - you'll appear to be cross-eyed or a former member of the short-bus crew to those watching.
The Sound System, while adequate, simply doesn't blow the viewer away. The booms and tremors normally experienced by a good sound system simply aren't present. IF you want the true theatre experience, an alternative sound system is a must.
So, if you are looking for an alternative to the pricetag that comes along with plasma, or have other concerns about different highends TVs, the Sony 46" DLP is a great choice. Television, movies, and other HD options come in crystal clear, and I have had nearly complete satisfaction.

The TV itself is nice but it took an extra two weeks to get here because it just sat in a warehouse. I had to call and was transferred to five different people trying to find out where my package was. They were very rude to me on the phone and it took me 3 days to actually locate my product and then another 2 weeks for it to be shipped. It was supposed to have been shipped a week prior to those 2 weeks, so just be careful when ordering from this company.
